Bolts-Aircraft spec

These bolts derive from the aircraft industry and therefore are very strong, particularly in shear. All have UNF threads.

We stock the following range of aircraft spec.bolts:-

NAS 1300/6600 Series. These are high-tensile, cadmium plated  hexagon-headed bolts.

•  Tensile strength 160,000 psi
•  Shear strength 95,000psi
•  Plain shank (grip length) increments by 1/16″ in series
•  Each diameter has a fixed length of thread just enough for a washer and nut
•  Thin, dimpled heads
•  Range in stock from 3/16″ to 3/8″ dia.  Others available to order on request

NAS 1100/6200 Series. These are high-tensile, cadmium plated hexagon-headed bolts.

• Tensile strength 160,000 psi
• Shear strength 95,000psi
• Plain shank (grip length) increments by 1/16″ in series
• Shorter thread than 1300 series
• Each diameter has a fixed length of thread just enough for a washer and nut
• Thin, dimpled heads
• Range in stock from 3/16″ to 3/8″ dia. Others available to order on request

AN Series

• Tensile strength 125,000 psi
• Shear strength 75,000 psi
• Plain shank (grip length) increments by 1/8″ in series
• Each diameter has a fixed length of thread just enough for a washer and nut
• Range in stock from 3/16″ to 1/2″ dia. Others available to order on request
